Makes 2


  • Mixed lettuce
  • 400 g tinned cannellini beans
  • 8 vine leaves
  • 4 tablespoons of fresh turmeric. I used Kacchi London.


  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • sea salt and pepper to taste


  1. Combine all salad ingredients, except vine leaves and turmeric in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine all dressing ingredients, and mix with salad right before serving.
  3. Divide your salad into 2 plates, add vine leaves and top with turmeric.
