As Seen In:

My name is Milena Kaler and I am a qualified, clinically trained Nutritionist based in Harley Street, Central London, and online.

Clients come to me because they are tired of general advice that simply doesn’t work.

My key areas of clinical expertise are stubborn weight loss and weight management (including PCOS and hypothyroidism), sports nutrition, digestive health (such as IBS, and IBD, as well as food intolerances), as well as autoimmune disease nutrition.

I use most up-to-date scientific research to achieve the very best results for my clients.

My clients include celebrities, actors, models, athletes, politicians, brides to be, and housewives. Over the course of hundreds of hours of clinical practice in Harley Street I have helped clients from weight loss and weight management to improvements in energy, mood, digestive, immune, hormonal health, and more.

You are unique and you are treated as such. As a Nutritionist, I do not have a ‘one size fits all’ approach. Everyone receives a personalised plan to ensure we get the best results possible.

My health issues were the reason I qualified as a Nutritionist. You can read my personal story here. I transformed my own health with nutrition and I have also seen incredible results with my clients.

Online consultation via my nutrition portal is available for clients who live outside the London area or who are unable to come to my office in Harley Street, Central London. You can enjoy the online consultation from the comfort of your home or office and you will be given the same level of personal attention and care that you would experience coming to see me in my Harley Street office.

Let me take the guesswork out of your diet and let’s start your transformation today.

I look forward to working together.

10 Quick & Easy
Weight Loss Recipes

When it comes to health and nutrition, Milena is a real expert and her nutrition and lifestyle advice is easy to follow. She has really helped me keep up a healthy lifestyle while maintaining a very busy life. I feel so much healthier and have more energy.

Chris QuintenActor, London

I couldn’t recommend Milena more highly! After just 2 sessions, I have been supported to achieve 5 kg of weight loss, shiny and clear skin, control of my binge-eating, improved mood and reduced stress levels. Thanks to Milena’s clear, simple, and tasty recipes and shopping lists, planning and cooking has become easy- with me cooking meals 90% of the time – something I never could have anticipated. I especially love Milena’s Maca balls recipe! Milena’s approach examines and adapts meal plans to make them manageable with a busy lifestyle, developing a plan which I can maintain. Milena has helped me to find strategies to cope with emotional eating, as well as finding creative substitutes for foods I typically overeat to help me better balance my diet. The continuity, feedback and accountability from the bundle of sessions has been invaluable to me, as Milena has adapted my plans to better suit my life with each session. Thank you!!

I suffer from a chronic immune disease. I came to Milena interested in how a change in diet could further improve my symptoms plus my overall health. The nutrition advice given by Milena has helped improve my symptoms and also increase my energy throughout the day.

The benefits have been so noticeable that it has been easy to persevere with the changes to my diet.

Justin DrakeAudio Engineer, London

I am really happy to have found Milena and I am looking forward to continuing the journey with her. I have Hashimoto disease and Milena is helping me manage nutrition to feel better. I have also lost some stubborn kgs in the last few months, which was a plus! Definitely recommended.

Everything Milena suggested helped me reach my goal, in 6 months I was lighter, stronger and had dropped a dress size in time for my wedding. Melina provided a tailored meal plan that includes lots of great recipes, she suggested ways I could improve my fitness and overall welling-being. I am very happy with the results and would highly recommend Milena as a nutritionist – I only wished I had found her earlier.

I had been looking for someone who specialised in PCOS nutrition and came across Milena’s details. She was able to see me very quickly and took a great deal of time and attention into understanding my symptoms, lifestyle, current nutrition and main concerns that I wanted addressed. I really felt she listened and understood what I wanted out of the consultation which was comforting and reassuring. Since then, Milena has created a nutrition plan with recipes, shopping lists and a supplements plan specific to my needs plus what tests I need to undertake, which has saved me so much time and really got to the crux of the issue. I have also found the dashboard where all my information is helpful as I am able to track my progress and use it whilst I’m out and about. Milena’s approach is professional, warm and thorough and I would advise anyone who is overwhelmed with information and not sure where to turn to go direct to her for help and advice. I’m looking forward to seeing my progress and feeling confident it will work!

I highly recommend the professional nutritionist services of Milena Kaler. Her experience combined with clinical education helped me with my food intolerance. Milena adapted a special diet to my lifestyle. I improved my health, figure, and well-being.

Nutritionist vs Dietician vs Nutritional Therapist vs Holistic Nutritionist

The main role of a Nutritionist is to help patients achieve optimal health through advice on food choices. A Nutritionist is an expert in nutrition, however because the title is not protected by law in the UK, anyone can call themselves a Nutritionist. For your peace of mind you should always check if your Nutritionist has appropriate training and belongs to a respectable professional body.

Dieticians work mainly in the NHS and are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council. Their professional body is the British Dietetic Association.

Nutritional Therapist

Similarly to a Nutritionist, the title Nutritional Therapist is not currently regulated by law in the UK. For your peace of mind, always ensure that your Nutritional Therapist is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the professional body which was set up with the government support to protect the public. CNHC Registered Nutritional Therapists undergo a high level of a three year training to be eligible for registration. As a Registered Nutritional Therapist I was trained in clinical practice in the principles of Functional Medicine, to give one-to-one personal health advice. Functional Medicine (Functional Nutrition) vs Holistic Medicine

Functional Medicine (Functional Nutrition)

Functional Medicine (Functional Nutrition) is a systems-oriented approach aiming to get to the root cause of health issues. It is a science-based healthcare model that is based on the following principles:

  • We are all biochemically individual, based on the concepts of our genetic and environmental uniqueness
  • Patient-centred approach, not the disease-centred approach
  • The factors that influence our health is a complex web of interconnections, not just a cause and effect approach
  • The role of a practitioner is to help the client find dynamic balance between all aspects of their health (body, mind, spirit)
  • The health should be viewed as the presence of positive vitality, and not just the absence of disease
  • Promotion of organ reserve with nutrition

Holistic Medicine / Holistic Nutrition

Holistic medicine is a system of healing that addresses the whole person, not just physical body but also any mental and emotional issues. As a holistic Nutritionist in London, Harley Street, I see every person as individual with different problems and different goals. Taking holistic approach means looking at the whole person. I dig deeper, and I explore all aspects of clients’ health,  on a physiological, physical, and mental/emotional level, to connect the dots between the symptoms and the underlying causes of health issues.

As a holistic Nutritionist I recognise that we are all biochemically unique and what works for one person does not work for another. Each nutrition plan is completely unique. As a holistic Nutritionist in Central London, Harley Street and online, I believe in the healing power of food, however, there is no one nutritional strategy that is right for everyone. Please see the holistic Nutritionist page for more information.

What to expect when you see a Nutritionist

A Nutritional Therapist (Nutritionist) works with clients on one-to-one basis conducting assessments of their health, ordering and analysing laboratory testing and writing nutrition plans. Nutritional Therapist (Nutritionist) can support patients with chronic health conditions, as well as clients looking to optimize their health. Holistic in approach, Nutritional Therapist (Nutritionist) will seek to identify and address the root cause of the health, skin or weight issue, with a focus on looking at the whole health picture, understanding that the mind and the body are interconnected.

An initial consultation with a Nutritional Therapist (Nutritionist) normally takes about one hour. During this time the Nutritional Therapist (Nutritionist) will ask questions about the client’s condition and conventional treatment, medical history, diet, and lifestyle. The Nutritional Therapist (Nutritionist) may also perform tongue, face and nail examination to get a better picture of the client’s health. Please see the Mayfair Nutrition Consultations page for more information.
