How do I make an appointment?

Please use the contact form on the ‘Book an appointment’ tab. We then book you in and request payment. Payment completes the booking and confirms your appointment.

How many consultations will I need?

Most patients benefit from at least two consultations. For complex health issues and weight loss clients, it may be necessary to work together for a longer period of time.


We send an invoice at the time of scheduling an appointment. Payment can be made online by credit or debit card. Payment confirms the appointment.

What if I need to cancel?

If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, a 48 hour notice is required (cancellations /rescheduling for Monday appointments must be made by 12pm on Friday) or full consultation fee will be charged. “No Shows” will be subject to the full consultation cost. If you arrive late for your appointment you may not receive a full allotted time for your appointment.


What is body fat percentage?

Body fat percentage is the amount of body fat as a proportion of your body weight.

Why is it important to monitor body fat percentage?

Measuring weight alone is not a completely accurate assessment of health or fitness because it doesn’t distinguish kilograms that comes from fat and kilograms that come from lean muscle mass. Everyone needs some body fat, but too much fat results in obesity.

What is total body water percentage?

Total body water percentage is the total amount of fluid in a person’s body expressed as a percentage of their total weight. Water plays a vital role in many of the body’s processes and is found in every cell, tissue and organ.

What is visceral fat rating?

Visceral fat is the fat that is in the internal abdominal cavity, surrounding the vital organs in the abdominal area. Research shows that even if your weight and body fat remains constant, as you get older the distribution of fat changes and is more likely to shift to the abdominal area.

What is Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)?

Your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is the minimum level of energy your body needs when at rest to function effectively including your respiratory and circulatory organs, neural system, liver, kidneys, and other
organs. You burn calories when sleeping.

What is metabolic age?

BMR and indicates the average age associated with that type of metabolism. If your BMR Age is higher than your actual age, it is an indication that you need to improve your metabolic rate.

What is muscle mass?

This feature indicates the weight of muscle in your body.

What is physique rating?

Physique rating assesses your physique according to the ratio of body fat and muscle mass in your body.

What is bone mass?

The amount of bone in the body.

Are there any people for whom the analyser is not appropriate?

Pregnant women, people with  pacemakers or other electronic medical implants should not use the monitor.
