Makes 16


  • 150 g ground almonds
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder (heaped)
  • 50 g cashews (roughly chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut (plus extra for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter


  1. In a blender or food processor combine ground almonds, maca powder, honey, coconut oil, shredded coconut and nut butter and blend until smooth.
  2. Transfer your mixture to a mixing bowl.
  3. Add your roughly chopped cashew nuts and mix well by hand.
  4. Form equal size balls and roll them into the shredded coconut (makes 16). Store in the fridge.
